My name is Gerhard Witt. I accompany families in the Hannover region, the Weserbergland and Ostwestfalen-Lippe through the great housing and asset questions of later life — from the family home to whatever else a life gathers in value: a collection, a painting, a car, a holiday house, an investment property.
A companion across decades
We accompany families over several years — from the first question of whether a house should one day be passed on, to the moment the work of a lifetime passes, in good order, into new hands.

Wahrgut helps you sort and divide down — and relieves, accompanies and coordinates. We know what matters: we take the pressure of appointments and coordination upon ourselves and keep it away from you, as far as that is possible. We are advocates of one clear principle: clarification and guidance before marketing. It protects the family and protects the values to be handed on.
How we safeguard this stance is set out in writing in our code. An advisory board of notaries, tax advisers and specialists is currently taking shape — it will support us in this.
How you can measure us
Neutrality within the family. In a community of heirs we do not take one side.

Behind Wahrgut stands a person, not an apparatus. A detailed page about the founder and a monthly consultation hour are currently available in German only; the English versions follow once the German pages are approved.
Careful when the weeks press. Far-sighted when there is time to shape things. We clarify between generations, coordinate communities of heirs and pass values on into new hands with dignity.
